The old man at Bus-Interchange

These few weeks in the bus-interchange at HDB HUB, when I was waiting for bus to go back to my office, I will keep seeing this irritating old man begging money.
He will just appear from nowhere to ask for money. He will keep walking up and down the queue while you are waiting for bus. I believe that he has a home or a family as he wears different set of clothing everyday and his slippers look pretty new.
He cant talk as he will use sign language to ask the people for money to eat. He will keep looking at you and ask for money. Sometime when I was thinking of something, he will just tap my shoulders and ask for money. A bit scary loh and he will ask everyday.
I just dont understand why ppl keep giving him money. He will keep coming to ask non-stop if they continue to do tat.
I am not being unkind but if you were me there, u will be scared by him. I am a very timid person, everytime when I see him, I will just being scared by him. Thinking of whether he will do anything to me, if he does anything, he will sure die. haha
