Hong Kong's Trip on 19-23 Oct '05
I am back from my holiday to my normal busy working life again.
I went Hong Kong with Ivy on 19-23 Oct '05. We are supoosed to fly by ValuAir but in the end, the flight was cancelled and we have to fly by JetStar instead. We got to eat free food from JetStar as we are entitled to food that were supposed to be from ValuAir. We came back on Jetstar again too.
We went to Disneyland, Ocean Park, Women Street, Men Street and etc.
On the first night, we went to take the tram to go up to the Peak. The air up there is so nice and cold at the same time. The wind is just so strong and cold and could feel like you will be blown away by the wind anytime.
The ticket fee is HK$295 to go to Disneyland and we are entitled to all rides. They were like only 2 rides but there were alot of shops selling Disney things.
We went to Ocean Park on the third day. It is like only $195 and there are alot of rides. We get to sit the adventurous rides and the kiddy rides too. The underwater world there are just so beautiful and there were 3 storeys to it. We went to watch the performance by the dolpins and sealions too. They were so smart. The cable car there is so scary. The track is so long and we get to see all the beautiful scenery around it. At the time we were going happen to be in the same period of the Halloween, so there were 3 different areas that will scare the hell out of you.
I think I enjoyed the adventurous rides the most. The rides that I took made my heart beat so fast and face to turn pale when I come down. I have to close my eyes throughout the whole ride or else I would feel so giddy when I come down. After every ride, I will tell Ivy that she lied to me cause she claimed that the rides are not scary at all. We spent half a day playing there.
I went to sit the 'turning horse' as I want to be like the gal who acted in the korean show. I just cant remember the name of the korean drama serial now. *Bad memory*
For food, we went to eat their claypot rice which taste horrible, dim sum which taste much better than here, mcdonald breakfast which sell their hotcake with sausage w/o hashbrown at HK$19 and their set breakfast which consist of toasted bread, scrambled egg, sausage, a bowl of macaroni with 2 slices of ham and a cup of coffee which cost only HK$19. We went to one of the restaurant to eat and cost us HK$330 for the both of us. We ordered one roasted pigeon, double-boiled soups, clams, one plate of fried veg and another plate of chicken. We felt so full as both of us kept ordering the food to make up for the loss of energy spent at Ocean Park.
I simply enjoyed myself at Hong Kong although there were some hiccups throughout our journey. The day is short and the night is long at Hong Kong. The days spent at holidays are so short.
Now I am planning for my next trip to Bangkok again but it will be at next yr. :)
