Shanghai Trip Part 1
Time to blog abt my trip to Shanghai from 1-3 July '06.
A lot of ppl said tat I spent so much for a air ticket just to go for one day to Shanghai. Wat to do when u have a bf who told u tat he will not go overseas anymore or to China n end up in Shanghai? haha
Took MU544 at 12.55am to Shanghai on 1 July '06. The counter assistant was nice as she gave me a window seat n let me sit alone. The whole airplane was full with China ppl and only a few Singaporeans.
Reached Shanghai at 6am n baby couldnt find me. I rebonded my hair n he couldnt recognise me. haha :p
We went to eat Yong Her for our breakfast before going back to his house to place my luggage. I saw alot of cute puppies there. The dogs there have much better life, being placed in cage n in e shop while a few cats are placed in one cage n outside e shop. Heard tat they sell mutton meat there n if they have shortage of mutton meat, they will use cat meat in replace as both have e same smell. Poor cats
I like their advertisement displays there. They have huge ads n is much much way nicer than e ones in Singapore. Wanted to take photos of all e ads but baby was quite angry with me as I kept stopping to look at e ads. I couldnt help it, it is a job sickness. I am in advertising line, ads are my rice bowls. Just like when I watch tv or movie, I would look at e angle in which e camera shoot at the characters.
It kept raining there n have to buy an umbrella at a discount. Went to their ktv whch cost RMB $60 per hour, quite cheap. The songs r quite nice.
I missed my flight home as I was busy talking to his friends n watching some old korean show. When I reached e airport, all e counters r empty n I was shocked. The cleaner said tat e counter was closed 20 mins before i reached. I rushed to find e mu counter n have to take e 10.45am flight instead. Sms my boss to tell her tat i missed e flight n luckily she didnt scold me.
E flight hm was packed n I was placed beside two china guys. The guy beside me looked like e skinny version of ekin cheng n got double degree. He has e same surname as me. haha We walked out of e airplane together n he asked for my no n my msn address. We left at diff cabs of course, I went hm n he went on his way to his hotel.
Shall not say so much or else baby see it, will scold me. haha
