Weekend
Last weekend was a busy weekend for me.
Sat
Was shopping at Marina Square to look for clothings to waer for Ivy's wedding. Walked around but didnt manage to find any nice till abt 1-2 hrs later. Bought a beige blouse and silky brown skirt for the morning tea ceremony. Walked to Suntec City after given up hope on Marina Square. Decided to give 'Daniel Yam' another chance but it failed me. The sizes are either too small or I have grown fatter. Bought nothing there. Walked to Bugis Junction for my search again. Finally found a white dress from Urban Co and continued with the search. Bought a white heel from Silverline for $9.90, much cheaper than e black one I bought previously. Bought my silver handbag from Mphosis. They have closed for the day but I was like 'Could I just buy one bag? It is urgent'. After a while, they decided to let me in to go and asked me to pay by cash. They r so nice and had save my day. Walked to Bugis Village to find the shawl and after abt 30 mins, found a white shawl n a golden rose.
Sun
First station
Woke up at abt 9am to get ready to go to my auntie's house. I arrived late abt 10 mins and went stright upstairs to find the bride. She was so beautiful. No wonder ppl say tat when gal get married tat day, they r e most beautiful person but she is by nature tat beautiful. I was like telling her 'Are you sure you r e bride? u dont behave like a bride.' She was like complaining tat she is hot n was bored as she couldnt only stay upstairs to see wat is going on downstairs. Finally e groom came up n fetched her after e few rounds. He is very tall n very blur at e same time. He was asked to use e wax to remove his leg hair requested by her future wife. haha They were asked to eat e sweet mee suan as a symbol to ensure tat their marriage is sweet. I wonder if e groom did hear tat or he is just too hungry. He finished up e whole bowl n when he was talking, e egg was at e side of his mouth. Looks very funny. hee hee
Next station, e groom's house. He stayed at 16th storey n it looks scary from upstairs. I went along for fun too. The 'sisters' just stayed outside as it looked packed in e house. Just stood there to eat a bit n talked.
Next station, their house. Nice house with simple renovation. Looks cosy for a newly-wed couple. Left abt 2plus to go hm n changed.
Reached auntie's house abt 4plus to do my hair n make-up by e make-up artist. Cost abt $60 n I felt tat her skills not bad. Left e house at abt 6plus with my two cousins n auntie. My auntie drove extremly on the expressway so slowly until my godma decided not to wait for us n drove faster. My auntie was quite unpleased with her for asking her to drive another way to e restaurant but she drove her preferred route in e end.
Reached e restaurant at abt 6.30pm n we were late. My cousin n I were supposed to be at e reception. The dinner was quite gd n e dessert was beancurd with wolfberry. The beancurd is so soft and it tasted not bad. I dont even have to peel e prawn's shells as my cousin's bf was there peeling for us. wahaha Ate too full tat nite n left abt 10 plus.
