My not-so exciting Sat
This morning went to jie jie's house before going for my root canal appointment. Saw my two fav nephews. So happy :)
Jovan is getting more yandao n he smiles alot while Yun Yun is as usual so small. Jovan was lying down on his baby chair n when I wanted to carry him up, he was so happy. There comes the part, he doesnt like me to sit down when I was carrying him. So I have to walk around n when I sit down, I have to tell him tat 'yee yee is tired, so must rest ok?' He understands wat I am telling him for a while before showing him tat he wants to move around. Jie Jie was like telling me tat u cant scold him or say tat he is naughty, he will cry. He understands wat ppl r telling him n sometimes wants to take part in conversation by saying his baby language.
Helped yun yun change his t-shirt while jie jie was feeding milk to Jovan. Have to tell him not to watch tv while changing as he looks like any moment he is going to fall down. Realised tat my counting of 1,2,3 helps when he refused to listen to me. Shall try it e next time round. wahaha
Jovan fell asleep on me when we r on e cab to my jie jie's mother-in-law's house. She was going to leave him there while Yun Yun n her r going to watch Nemo on Ice. I think Jovan feels comfortable sleeping on me as he gets to enjoy aircon n e occasional movement from the ride on the cab.
Went for my root canal appointment in e afternoon. Really regret choosing tat option. Through e proedure, kept telling myself tat I am brave n I will not be scared, but it only helps a bit. Tears kept coming out from my eyes while he was doing the root canal. I cried non-stop almost till e end tat I wanted to do an extraction for my tooth instead. The equipement kept touching my tongue giving me a urge to vomit as my tongue is extremely sensitive.
Didnt give up as the dentist said tat he only left a small part before completing. Baby was like telling me tat if I choose to do tooth extraction, the pain tat I have endure beforehand would be down e drain. The dentist took another 45 mins before completing everything including 2 x-rays.
Came hm to sleep after tat as I slept at 4am n woke up in the middle due to my cough again.
Woke up by a call n here is my entry on a Sun early morning.
Total he took 2 hrs to complete e root canal for my tooth n tat cost me $350. Expensive! Told me to go back 3-4 wks to go for a second round as he needs to check. Can I dont go back?! Pretty pls....
Now whenever I swallow down my saliva, I could still taste the medicine he used. Not a very nice taste.
