'Cabbies face anonymous checks'

I am so happy when I read the online news about 'Cabbies face anonymous checks'. LTA is going to hire ppl to check on problems faced by commuters. wahaha

They should have done tat long long ago man. Those cab drivers deserve tat!

The cab drivers r getting arrogrant nowadays as they will decide on e time, ppl n place to pick ppl up. They will even scold ppl when they r 'not told' to go by overhead bridge as they love going on roads fulled with traffic lights just to earn more money.

Cabs r extremely hard to get at Orchard Road and Marina Square area. They r all waiting for on-calls and even if their cabs r empty, they refuse to pick ppl. Those timings that are before 7am or 11.30pm when the surcharge is going to start, there will be hardly any cabs on roads. I wonder where all e cabs have gone to!

Some do not even charge ppl by meter! They will tell ppl ridiculous prices at places like H******F**** where there r alot of foreigners! When I heard it, I thought tat I was in Thailand n not in Singapore! Only in thailand tat e cab drivers will do such a thing!

Hope tat doing such a check will improve on the standards of the cab drivers! *Fingers cross*
