Bad experience at Sim Lim Square
I am pissed off with the shop at Sim Lim yesterday. If I am not wrong, it should be in the 3rd floor.
Went in to the shop and looked at the laptop tat he saw earlier and wanted me to see, below are our conversation.
Sales assitant: MSI CX 420 has sold out. You could buy the i5 at $899.
Us: Is the price inclusive of GST? If we pay by Cash or NETS, any difference?
Sales: Yes , $899 is inclusive of GST. If you pay by cash or Nets, it is $899. Pay by credit card, you would have to pay the charge.
Us: Ok, we discuss and come back later.
10 mins later, we went back to the shop. Another sales assitant came to help us.
Sales Assitant: You want to buy the CX 420 i5? It is super worth it cause at another shop i saw it at $1,099.
Us: Yes.
Sales Assitant turned to the lady boss and told her tat we wanted the laptop and he said the price. The lady boss told him tat it is at $1,099.
Lady Boss: i5 is at $1,099, if you want, I can give you a $50 discount.
Us: We asked your assitant twice and he said $899, inclusive of GST.
Lady Boss turned and looked at her assistant and said, " You come for so many days and I told you it is at $,099."
Lady Boss: Sorry about it.
We are so pissed off.
Seriously, it is not our fault tat your assitant told us the i5 is at $899, inclusive of GST. Your price states $899 beside the laptop. If words have come out of your assitant whom you have hired, you should abide it and not said a sorry which seems not sincere. To me, you are just trying to push away the fault. It is ur bloody hell's problem not mine. They are so irresponsible.
I am coming to realise why there are so many ppl who get cheated there! I am not going to buy things from there anymore!
