Money spending day
My dear old laptop has decided to give way after 3 yrs.. Actually during e first year, I have brought it to the service centre for repair twice due to the same problem - power cable issue. The person-in-charge still question e way I use the laptop and teach me how to use.
That day when I was watching some show, it decided to black-out and become normal and it repeated the process for quite a couple of times. I switched off using the on/off button on the laptop when it failed to return to its normal mode. When I turned to switch on again, I only see black screen. I decided to let the expert take a look at it.
He told me that it is common for this laptop as it is known for it hardware issue. When I heard it, I was so pissed off. The person-in-charge still dare to say until it is my fault.
He added something for me and told me tat I am able to use but after a while, the problem came back. He said tat he will do for me again. However after the 3 tries, my laptop still cannot survive after 1 hr.. I had to use Yaya's laptop for my stuff. Seriously, I dont enjoy using other ppl's things.
I was contemplating to buy a new laptop and I came across an Asus netbook at $399. My heart was itchy. We went to Funan to browse and I saw the laptop and it was $399. The saleperson knew his stuff and I felt comfortable. I wanted to buy but I was being stopped.
On Saturday, we went there again. Another saleperson told us that he only have the $369 netbook. I was tempted but we saw another netbook at $449 with graphic card meaning tat if I play games or watch show, it wouldnt be so pixed. He offered me with upgrade to 2GB Ram and external hard-drive but if I add another $79 for 1 more yr of warranty, it will really burst my budget..
We decided to walk around Funan and compared prices.. The lowest I could get is $399 but no added item but I am not comfortable with the service I have gotten.
After walking around for half an hr, we walked back to the same shop but I have gotten $100 as sponsorship so I dont need to spend so much..
I have gotten myself a red netbook with graphic card. After buying, my heart felt painful as I am already in shortage of money but I am still spending like nobody's business. Sighs Wat to do? I dont like to keep borrowing ppl's thing to use.
I just hope that my old laptop could still survive and my new netbook could serve me long long. :)
