A happy day, Fri, 8 Jun '12
Heard from Pheng tat David will be getting married on 8 Jun a while ago but he will not be inviting many guests to his wedding.. Taking tat in note, I agreed to the meet-up with the OI gang instead..
Little did I expect tat he would call me on a sat morning asking me to attend, I have to agree to it as he was my cousin and he was the one who brought me into the Marketing Industry.. I have to say no to the meet-up unwillingly..
The OI gang were so nice tat they met up at Din Tai Feng at Raffles City which was opp the hotel.. This made so touched.. :)
On tat day, I have to rush hm like crazy as I wanted to go hm to bathe and changed before attending the wedding at Carlton Hotel. Though they are my relatives, I felt so out-of-place. I only talked to Jac n Pheng while waiting to go in the ballroom..
Luckily my sis and family were coming to the wedding, if not I would feel so weird..
During the yam seng, my cute niece Jaida held her food up instead of the usual drink. She ate a bit of her food during the 3 toasts. The people around were laughing at her cuteness as she seemed to enjoy it. She was the centre of attraction for the night as she was dressed in the Cinderalla clothing. Even the little children kept looking at her too.. :)
I was glad tat I have the company of the 3 cute children, sis, brother-in-law, Adam n Pheng during the dinner, if not, I will be so bored.. :)
Before the end of the dinner, I whatsapp Zixiu n found out tat they r looking for a location to continue the nite.. I managed to convince the brother-in-law to fetch me to the location after the dinner.. The blur blur them told me tat it was Pan Pacific Hotel but it was Marina Mandarin Hotel instead..
When I finally reached there, the 7 of them were still there.. I felt so happy and touched as they actually waited for me to finish and I have not seen some of them for a while n somehow or rather, we only met up during weddings.. The objective (kapo-ing whether my guess of whether Audrey is really wearing a ring as I have seen in one of her pic) of the meet-up was met too.. :) Talked to abt 1 am before going hm.. When we came out of the hotel, it was raining so heavily.. Managed to take a cab hm after waiting for a while..
