Who's afraid of the big bad boss?
In a recent survey, one in four Singapore workers said that he or she feels bullied at work.
Sixty-two per cent of the 2,281 people polled by online job portal JobsCentral said they were bullied by their superiors.
But 74 per cent of the respondents who said they were bullied indicated that colleagues are the biggest bullies, while 21 per cent said they were bullied by their clients.
Some of the common bullying behaviour cited include:
- Unfair and biased allocation of workload
- Verbal abuses and personal attacks
- Ostracising
- Wrongful accusation
- Abuse of seniority or power and gossip
Saw this above-mentioned article 'How to spot an abusive boss' when I was surfing Asiaone.com just now.. Suddenly thought of the psycho boss in my previous job.. Reported her to the higher Management but they think tat she is right cause she behaves like an 'angel' infront of them..
As expected, the person who will suffer is me.. sighs Just because of such psycho boss and Management who doesnt belive in you, the staff has to suffer.. Somemore they still say tat they cant find any fault in her cause I cant quote it out.. So must wait for the day till I die before they believe?
Seriously, I hope tat retribution will fall on them soon.. They make my life for the 3 mths so miserable, why has anything not happen to them yet?
