Putu Piring at Geylang Serai

After our porridge dinner at Katong on Sunday, we decided to go to Geylang Serai to get the Hari Raya atmosphere. The whole place was crowded with people getting their items for the festival.

We chanced upon this coffee-stall selling Putu Piring. The queue was not that long and we decided to queue for it. I was like asking him if this was the one that my cousin was talking abt. There were quite a few awards from this store. While queung, I might as well take some pics.

This pic is where the 4 of them are busy at their own positions doing their part. There is 1 lady standing aside collecting money. While waiting, I was just telling him tat e person puts very little gula melaka..

They will pack 3 of the Putu Piring and place some coconut into a sheet and wrapped it up. They are selling for 3 at $1.

The Putu Piring are super hot. Did u see tat? The gula melaka is like spilling out.. It is very nice. No wonder while we are enjoying the taste of it, the queue for it didnt seem to stop too..

Do go down and take it if u havent tried it before. However do beware tat the Putu Piring is hot, so dont get scalded by it.. I would give it a rating of 4/5.. :)
