Dinner at Paradise Inn, NEX

After watching Cowboys Vs Aliens at NEX, we were walking around deciding wat we should have for our dinner.. As it was only 6.10pm, hence the people eating dinner were quite relatively little. According to him, it was too early for dinner. We walked from places to places. When he has decided at Din Tai Feng, I was telling him tat we will eat our usual of fried rice with pork chops, la mien and xiao long bao and etc. I told him tat we could try Paradise Inn for their colourful xiao long bao..

After sitting down, I realised that I was wrong.. The colourful xiao bao is available at Paradise Dynasty instead.. haha

Our soup tat we have ordered - Boiled Apple with Fish and the waitress would serve us..

It came in this pot.. I could only take pic after e waitress has served us.. This is their standard pot size no matter how many people are drinking.. hmmm.. The soup seems to be too much for 2 person serving.. I think my tummy is full of water instead of food and I think they added chinese herbs in it as it was bitter in e end..

Kailan with Oyster sauce.. Not too bad but I find it a bit bitter in e end.. Maybe it is due to e sweetness from e soup?

Sweet and sour pork with lychee.. There is no lychee taste in the pork.. Is it supposed to be in this way?

My rice to go along with dishes and soup.. 

My fav - Taro Paste.. I was just thinking tat I find like eating it and he asked me if I wanted it.. I didnt know tat the shop sells this.. I thought tat e white stuff on top was garlic and was wondering why they placed in. Only after tat, I knew it was water chestnut. I felt tat the water chestnut was extra but he said it was e sweet potato.. No matter wat, it was delicious, not too sweet. Yummy.. However, how come they didnt add coconut? Luckily they didnt as I do not like coconut in it..

His - Mango Pomelo with sago.. He ordered this as he thought tat I could have some. So sweet of him.. Too sweet for my liking..

The total damage was $60.50, including GST and service charge.. We applied for the card which cost us $38 and they gave us a $45 voucher which we can use so we paid $15.50 for this meal..

Overall the experience is nice as he was eating with me.. I would go there for their food again as their service seems to be there but I think their food still have a room for improvement.. I would give it 3.5/5..
