Dinner at Hifumi Japanese Restaurant

Met up with P for dinner yesterday nite at PS. We were supposed to eat at Itacho Sushi but the queue was super long..

I went for a 15 mins shopping thinking that she wasnt there yet, but by the time I msg and reached the resturant, she was in the queue already.. As she was hungry, she was asking if I would want to eat something else instead as the queue was not really moving at all.. She searched on the website of PS and saw the review for Hifumi Japanese Restaurant.. It was located at the new wing of PS and she quickly walked over to see whether the queue was long before I joined her..

Luckily we made the choice as she was in the restaurant sitting when I reached there and the food was served quickly.

We ordered for our main and made way to get our appetizers. Our main came with a drink which was free flow.. Both of us took ice lemon tea but I found tat the taste wasnt there.. The choices werent much but to her, it was pretty ok as she could eat her fav chawamushi.. She ate 3 bowls in total while I ate 2..

1) My appetizer.. I took the chawamushi, sweet potato fries, pumpkin salad and fried tofu..

When I first tried the sweet potato fries, they are a bit hard but as you kept eating it, you find it hard to stop.. 

2) She ordered hers but I cannot remember the name as I threw away the receipt.. haha However she commented tat the portion was too little, hence she could not share with me..

3) I ordered the Bara Chirashi Sushi Set..

4) My set when the cover was open.. I enjoyed eating this set as they gave quite a lot of ingredients with the rice.. The other restaurant will usually give u a lot of rice and little ingredients while they are the opp.. The sushi and eel was quite ok but it will be a bit cold as most of the ingredients are raw..

5) My mysterious diner.. She kept telling me not to tag her as she didnt want anyone to know tat she was having dinner..

  

Overall, the food was not bad and the total bill came up to almost $48 for 2 which I felt tat it wasnt tat expensive. We sat there to talk after dinner for around 1 hr but the waitresses seem pretty ok with it, hopefully.. haha
